VIDEO: See what vehicle bearing this plate number did to Okada riders

Hot chase for the driver and occupants of a Ford Edge, a sports utility van (SUV) with registration number ABJ608JW, is currently on after a near fatal accidents involving them and two commercial motorcycles at Chicken Republic Junction, University Road, Gwagwalada, Friday evening.

The SUV appeared to be the subject of a hot pursuit by another vehicle that couldn’t be identified at the time of the accident.

Meaning to make a detour into Phase 1, intending to shake off its pursuer, the SUV slammed into two incoming bikes. The cars bumper tore off, along with its plate number.

Both bikes appeared damaged from the initial assessment of them.

Witness account told DDM reporter that SUV was being chased after hitting passerby earlier.

As at the time of filing this report, other commercial motorcycle drivers had joined the chase, pursuing the SUV which headed towards Phase 1, and headed upwards towards Angle 90 junction in the locality.

Nothing has been heard so far of the outcome.

Meanwhile, the victims of the accident were being ministered to by sympathetic onlookers as contemplations where still on to take them to the nearest hospital.
