The people of Ayamelum Local Government Area in Anambra State were left in shock after Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo pulled off what an observer described as “the greatest heist ever perpetrated by a government in power”.
Governor Soludo had recently visited Ayamelum to campaign ahead of the forthcoming November 8 governorship election in the state.
During the campaign, he claimed to have commissioned the Ayamelum General Hospital at Anaku.
He also said that four surgeries had already been carried out there.
However, when residents visited the supposed commissioned hospital, they found nothing but an empty hall with no equipment, doctor, or nurse in sight.
