Palestinian women and children celebrating in Gaza after Israel and Hamas declared ceasefire

Celebration erupted in the streets of Gaza after Israel and Hamas declared ceasefire in the Israeli-Palestinian war that has sent thousands to the grave.

It could be recalled that Diaspora Digital Media (DDM), on January 15, reported that Israel and Hamas reach ceasefire-hostage deal in Palestine.

The deal is supposed to see all Israeli hostages held by Hamas terrorists released, and the war stopped.

The ceasefire deal comes after about one year and three months since the way started in October 2023.

The war started after Hamas terrorists attacked Israelis, killing some and abducting a lot more others.

On October 7, 2023, Hamas and other Palestinian militant groups had launched a coordinated attack on Israel.

The attack marked the first invasion of Israeli territory by Palestine since the 1948 Arab-Israeli War.

The attack, codenamed “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood,” began with a barrage of over 4,300 rockets launched into Israel.
