The women of Ganye Local Government Area of Adamawa state in a health sensitization seminar were Educated and advice to imbibed the culture of of exclusive breast feeding than Complementary feeding.
The explaining the good sign of labour and the danger signed that may need referral to women living in rural communities were there is no secondary health facilities,the wife of Ganye LGA Chairman,Mrs Magdalene Emmanuel Udoji passionately called on the rural Women during the seminar in Ganye to feed their for at least six months before thinking of another alternative.

She informed the Councillors in attendance to extends the messages being discussed, to communities they represent.
The LGA Primary Health Care Authority (PHCA) Executive Secretary,Alhaji Amidu Baba advised them to utilize the knowledge and mobilize the population to utilize health facilities for all interventions.
The meeting which brought together all relevant stakeholders of the Health sector of the area all commended the efforts of the Executive Governor of the state, Senator Muhammadu Umaru Jibrilla Bindow for declaring a state of emergency in the sector and is yielding great result sooner than expected.
They also appreciate the erudite leadership qualities of the Chairman of the State Primary health care development agency,Dr Abdullahi Dauda Belel for changing the narrative of the Health story of the state before and after the Boko Haram attacks.
