Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has made his position unmistakably clear regarding the future of Enzo Fernandez, insisting the Argentine midfielder remains central to the club’s long term ambitions despite growing speculation linking him with Spanish giants Real Madrid.

“Yes.”

Fernandez has become one of the Premier League’s most accomplished midfielders since arriving at Stamford Bridge in January 2023.
