Fear of Correction 2017: Obiano summons all the 177 community leaders to gov’s lodge
…asks them to nominate 3 contractors each.

APGA Interactive Forum has gathered that Anambra State governor Wilie Obiano today met with all the President Generals of 177 towns in the state in a closed door session.
The governor, this Forum learnt is no longer comfortable with the rising acceptability of Correction 2017 across the state and had resorted to the PGs to help save the situation.
The governor is hoping for re-election next year.
A source at the meeting informed this Forum that Obiano told the PGs that the govt of Anambra State belongs to both himself and the PGs, and that it is time for them to also enjoy.
According to the source, the governor was quoted as saying “ndi PG anyi ga eri ive this time”.
The governor thereafter told the PGs that he would henceforth place them on a monthly salary of 20,000 naira each.
He equally asked the PGs to nominate 3 contractors that will be giving them kick backs on every contract he awards to them.
The PGs were later shared 15,000 naira each for honouring the governors invitation.
However, most of the PGs saw this offer of 20,000 naira monthly stipend as belittling and promised to make sure the mistake of 2013 was corrected.
While some PGs out of the fear of EFCC said they won’t nominate any contractor.
