2face gets government appointment

Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia has appointed renowned music star, Innocent Ujah Idibia aka 2Face Idibia as his Technical Adviser on Entertainment and Community Outreach.

The award-winning artist hails from Okpokwu Local Government Area in the Benue South Senatorial District.

Accompanied by Natasha Osawaru Igbinedion, his fiancee, the music star accepted the appoimtment with glee, promising to contribute his quota to the success of the Alia administration.

The songster had earlier announced that he is set to walk down the aisle for the second time.

The singer, who announced his separation from his ex-wife of over a decade, has since proposed to his new partner.

In a video circulating online, the legendary singer was captured presenting an engagement ring to his Edo State lawmaker girlfriend, which she excitedly received. The lovebirds hugged and kissed as Natasha showed off her ring to everyone gathered.

Diaspora Digital Media gathered that Natasha is already expecting her first child with the singer.

One user commented, “Why are they staggering?” Another user wrote, “She thinks she’s special, the chosen one.” Emmanuella Iloba commented, “I’m so sorry, but none of the slides are giving me the ‘aww’ vibes; instead, they’re giving me ‘awon werey meji’ vibes.”

On Tuesday night, 2baba confirmed his relationship with Natasha on his Instagram page, revealing that he loves her and wants to marry her. He claimed that Natasha had nothing to do with the breakdown of his marriage to Annie and stated that he and Annie have an understanding.

In a follow-up post, he shared a photo of Natasha and urged Nigerians to help beg his new partner to marry him, describing her as his world.

Recall that in January, 2baba announced his separation from his wife of over a decade, Annie Idibia, via his Instagram page, revealing that they have been separated for a while and are on the verge of divorce.
