Three people were crushed to death in the Takie area of Ogbomosho, Oyo State, on Tuesday, when a container-laden truck lost control and fell on a commercial tricycle.
The unfortunate accident occurred around 9:30am at Takie junction during which the two female passengers and the tricycle rider were trapped under the container.
Eyewitnesses reported that the truck lost control while navigating a sharp bend, causing the container it was carrying to fall ontop of the tricycle.
Meanwhile, at the time of filing this report, efforts are still on at removing the container from the road in order to avert further accidents and restore traffic flow in the area.
