Police in Lagos State has confirmed three separate murder cases across different areas of the state — Ojo, Agege, and Ikotun.

At a press briefing on Monday, the spokesman of the command, Benjamin Hundeyin, revealed that one Kamoru Ojo was arrested for allegedly killing his 27-year-old daughter, Shakirat, during a domestic altercation in the Afromedia community of Ojo.

The incident reportedly occurred on March 26, 2025. After beating her to death, Kamoru allegedly buried her in a shallow grave within their compound.

Detectives later uncovered the grave, exhumed the body, and transferred it to a public morgue for autopsy. Kamoru is now in custody.

In another incident, a 28-year-old man, Tobi, was fatally stabbed during a fight involving three people at Abattoir Market, Agege, on March 31, 2025.

He was reportedly stabbed in the neck and died at the scene. The suspects — Lateef Tajudeen, Fatimah Alesiloye, and Ibrahim Olawunmi — have been arrested, and investigations are ongoing.

The third case involved the death of a 46-year-old man, Daniel, who was allegedly stabbed in the chest with a broken bottle by 36-year-old Omotoyosi Abadajo during a dispute in the Abaranje area of Ikotun on March 30.

He was confirmed dead at the hospital. The suspect is in custody pending further investigation.
