Abuja Food and Drinks Festival postponed
The highly anticipated Abuja International Food & Drinks Festival, scheduled to take place this year, has been postponed to October 16th and 17th, 2025.
The organizers, First Afrique & Events Limited, made the difficult decision to postpone the event due to a strategic reassessment aimed at ensuring a high-quality experience for attendees and participants.
“We are committed to delivering an exceptional culinary and cultural showcase that exceeds expectations,” said Hossana Abel, Managing Director of First Afrique & Events Limited. “After careful consideration, we concluded that additional time is necessary to refine plans and optimize execution.
This postponement will allow us to achieve our vision of a world-class event.”
The festival, which is organized in commemoration of World Food Day, promised to be a celebration of food, culture, and cuisine.
According to Abel, “We want to create an unforgettable experience for food enthusiasts, chefs, and stakeholders in the food industry. The new dates will enable us to deliver a seamless and enhanced event experience.”
The postponement may come as a disappointment to some, but Abel assures that it is a necessary step to ensure the success of the festival. “We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. We are confident that the extra time will result in a truly exceptional event that showcases the best of Abuja’s culinary scene.”
With the new dates announced, participants and attendees can look forward to an enhanced experience in 2025. As Abel noted, “We are excited about the possibilities and opportunities that this postponement presents. We will use this time to refine our plans and create an unforgettable experience for all.”
