Jurgen Klopp announced on Friday that he will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.

Klopp has been a beloved figure at Liverpool since he took over the club in 2015, and his announcement has come as a surprise to many fans.

In his statement, Klopp said that he realized his “resources are not endless” and that he wanted to focus on giving his all to this season before taking a break.

He also emphasized that he had no regrets about his decision and that he was convinced it was the right thing to do.

Speculation has already begun about who will succeed Klopp as Liverpool’s manager, but Klopp himself has said that he will not have a say in the matter.

He did, however, praise the “strong structure” that has been built at Liverpool since his arrival, saying that it was one of the reasons he felt comfortable leaving.

Klopp’s tenure at Liverpool has been marked by numerous achievements, including leading the club to their sixth European Cup in 2019 and their first Premier League title in 30 years in 2020.

He also won a domestic cup double in the 2021-22 season and has his team competing for four trophies this season.

Liverpool chief executive Billy Hogan praised Klopp for leaving the club in a better place than where he found it, and said that Klopp’s career at Liverpool has been “extraordinary.”

As Klopp prepares to leave Liverpool, he said that he has not yet thought about what he will do next.

For now, his focus is on helping Liverpool win as many trophies as possible this season.

I want to win everything this season, but it wouldn’t change my mind, and if we don’t win anything it wouldn’t change my mind he said.
