How bandits killed 6 Nigerian soldiers despite early warning of attack

Senior Army officer killed by bandits alongside 5 others

Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) has just received intelligence of how bandits killed six soldiers, including a Lieutenant Colonel, in Zungeru, Niger, State, despite early warning of the attack.

An eyewitness disclosed this confidently to DDM correspondent while speaking on condition of anonymity.

The source said that out of the six soldiers that “lost their lives in a fresh attack in Niger State”, a senior officer involved.

According to the source, the unfortunate incident took place at Zungeru, a town located in Niger State.

He, however, disclosed that the Nigeria Army “is trying to cover it as usual” but the cat is already let out of the bag.

He also regretted that the Nigerian Army leadership was warned on the imminent attack which they ignored at the expense of six military men.
