The Maltreatment Of Fulani Herdsmen In Southeast Region Is Unfair

Mixed reactions have continued to trail the recent onslaught by some Southern States in Nigeria to chase Fulani terror elements who have been accused of rape, kidnapping and destruction of farm lands from the region.

Although, the move to chase the terror herdsmen out from the Southern region got critical after the executive governor of Ondo, Rotimi Akeredolu ordered the herders in the state to leave the government reserve forests coupled with the ultimatum given by a Yoruba rights activist, Sunday Igboho to herdsmen in Oyo State.

Moreover, the ripple effects also spilled over to the Southeast region as the leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu ordered Eastern Security Network to go after the Fulani herdsmen in the region which resulted to the invasion of the Fulani herdsmen settlement in Isiukwato, Abia State.

However, a Twitter user, who goes by the name Chigozirim Emeakayi has raised alarm over what he described as maltreatment of Fulani herdsmen in the southeast region.
