2021: Kaduna FA Set to Commence Zonal Grassroots Soccer Competitions

The Kaduna State Football Association (FA) has said it has concluded arrangements to commence the three Zonal Soccer competitions under its management.

The Chairman of the Football Association, Hon Dan Kassim Sharreeff, disclosed this in a statement made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday in Kaduna.

He said Zone one – ZAFA – Zaria axis has 8 local governments; zone two – KAFA – Kaduna has 7 local governments while zone three – JAFA – Kafanchan axis has 8 local governments.

According to him, the Organizing and Technical Committees of the Association have put in place all that is required to commence the various zonal competitions before the end of this month.

He said the zonal Committees are to liaise with the Organizing and technical Committees for the implementation of the programmes accordingly, adding that the registration for the zonal competitions will open accordingly.

“Football Clubs wishing to compete should liaise with the F.A Secretariat. Players/Officials licenses for the Zonal Soccer Competition are ready for distributions/collection accordingly.

“Immediately after the conclusion of the zonal soccer competitions, the Kaduna State league will take-off throughout the State,” he stated.

“While appreciating the support and cooperation of the entire soccer stakeholders and football clubs, we assure all soccer-loving people of Kaduna State peaceful and COVID-19 adherence soccer competitions,” he added. (NAN)
