Nigerian UFC maestro, Adesanya returns to ring to defend title against polish opponent

Israel Mobolaji Adesanya, a Nigerian-born New Zealand professional mixed martial artist, and former kickboxer and boxer is set to return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship where he is the reigning UFC Middleweight Champion.

As a mixed martial artist, he is signed to the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and has a record of 20 wins.

In kickboxing, he is a former Glory Middleweight Championship title challenger. As of 29 September 2020, he is #3 in the UFC men’s pound-for-pound rankings.

Adesanya is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world of mixed martial arts.

However, Israel Adesanya will be facing Jan Blachowicz, a Polish professional mixed martial artist.

He currently competes in the Light Heavyweight division for the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), where he is the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion.

A professional since 2007, he also competed for KSW and is the former KSW Light Heavyweight Champion. He is the second Polish champion in UFC history, after Joanna Jędrzejczyk, and the first male Polish champion.

As of January 25, 2021, he is #14 in the UFC men’s category.

The bout which is slated to hold on Sunday have seen many fans of the both fighters wishing them success.

Adesanya who is known for his brutal finishing has been tipped to win the bout but considering the records of his opponent, some have predicted the bout to be a very hard one for Adesanya.
