Award-winning Nigerian Canadian filmmaker, Pascal Atuma, celebrates his birthday by reflecting on the prolonged suffering in Nigeria.

Despite the country’s abundant human and natural resources, Atuma expressed dismay at the widespread hardships faced by its people.

“Life is extremely excruciating for Nigerians, he said, adding that he intends his birthday celebration to reflect the mood.

He criticized the current state of affairs, attributing it to poor leadership and harsh government policies. Atuma highlighted issues such as hunger, economic challenges, and the devaluation of the currency, emphasizing the need for proactive measures to alleviate the suffering of Nigerian citizens.
