After four months of legal fireworks, the Oyo State tribunal had dismissed former governor Rashidi Ladoja’s petition against Governor Abiola Ajimobi.

Tension had soared in the camps of Governor Ajimobi’s All Progressive Congress (APC) and Ladoja’s Accord Party (AP) prior to the governorship election tribunal judgment today.

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had returned Ajimobi as winner of the April 11, 2015 election.

The Director-General of Ladoja Campaign Organisation, Adeolu Adeleke had yesterday expressed that the tribunal will declare Senator Rashidi Ladoja as the governor.
