The suspended Secretary General of the Federation, Engr. Babachir Lawal on Thursday failed to appear before Senate ad hoc committee over investigations into the N200 million grass cutting contract.
It could be recalled that the Shehu Sani-led committee had indicted Lawal in its December last year interim report submitted for consideration in the Senate.
Briefing journalist before the Committee adjourned, Senator Shehu accused the Babachir of deliberately ignoring invitation.

This, according to him, is because the officials of the panel sent to the suspended SGF residence were chased away by his security.
