VIDEO: Customs intercept weapons for bandits in Kaduna, Zamfara

Officers of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) have intercepted a cache of dangerous weapons and ammunition meant to be supplied to bandits in Kaduna and Zamfara States respectively.

The officer, who acted on a tip off from an undisclosed source said the weapons and ammunitions designated for Kaduna and Zamfara bandits were concealed in bags of rice.

When accosted, the suspects reportedly told the Customs officers that the contents were locally produced rice but the officials insisted on verifying them.

As soon as the ammunitions were discovered, the Customs officials swooped on the suspects and arrested all of the suspected criminals.
