The controversial governor of Rivers State, Barrister Nyesom Wike has hosted the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr Peter Obi in Port-Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State.
The Niger Delta born politician shared pictures of him, Peter Obi and other state government officials with a short statement saying, “It was nice hosting my brother Peter Obi once again.”
Meanwhile, Wike who lost the presidential ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party to Atiku Abubakar, has been in a running battle with the party over what he described as gang up against him.
Wike has also called for the resignation of the national chairman of the party, Senator Ayu Iyorchia, adding that, it will be pure injustice for both the presidential candidate of the party and it’s chairman to come from the north.
