Unidentified gunmen have killed the former state coordinator of Peter Obi Support Organization (POSORG) in Imo State barely month after a hit and run driver crushed his wife, a Liberian, “under a very suspicious circumstance”.

This was announced by the Convener/National Coordinator, Dr Basil Chudi Nwolisa, in a press release made available to News Band.

According to Dr. Nwolisa, in the statement entitled “Tribute to Apostle Wisdom Mbakwe of POSORG”, Apostle Mbakwe was “murdered by unknown assailants in his home at Imo State just about a month after his wife was crushed by a hit and run driver under a very suspicious circumstance in Imo State”.

He noted that his children are orphaned following the sudden death of their parents and “surely need a lot of help”.

Until his death he was the major sponsor of POSORG activities in Imo State.

Nwolisa, therefore, urged the Labour Party (LP) and the Peter Obi Support Organization to invest honestly in the life of the little ones they left behind.

In the meantime, the Apostle and his wife have both been buried in the compound in Imo State.

Nwolisa also expressed his condolences to the Labour Party family and the support groups branch. Read more.
