The candidate of the Labour Party (LP) in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election, Mr. Peter Gregory Obi, has stated that revolution in the power and agricultural sector in his government will start in Niger State when he assumes office as the incoming president.
Mr. Peter Obi gave the assurance while speaking at the Labour Party rally held in Minna, the Niger State capital, on Thursday.
According to Obi, Niger State has four dams and accounts for about ten percent of the country’s total land mass.
That, he said, makes the state the most appropriate place to focus attention in terms of power generation and agricultural development.
