The would-be suicide bomber was seen calling people and sharing 500 Naira notes and only detonated the Improvised Explosive Device [IED] when many people converged around him.
The Bomb that was detonated Thursday around 7:45 pm at Tipper Garage along Jimeta bye pass in Yola, Adamawa State.
This was according to the commissioner of Information, Comrade Ahmad Sajoh who updated of the casualties of the blast in his Facebook page.
He revealed that 32 people were recorded dead, 74 other were badly injured and currently receiving treatment in FMC Yola, Specialists Hospital and Peace Hospital Yola.
He is appealing to well-meaning individuals to rush to the designated Hospitals and donate blood to the victims of the blast.
Recall that barely three weeks ago a suicide bomber exploded a bomb in a mosque while hundreds of Muslims worshipers gathered to observed the Juma’at raka’at prayers in Jambutu which is just few miles away from the recent explosion.
