Senator Ubah joins other senators, senators-elect at induction training for lawmakers

Senator (Dr) Ifeanyi Ubah representing Anambra South Senatorial District, on Monday, joined other Senators and Senators-Elects at induction training for lawmakers organized by the management of the National Assembly (NASS) for new members of the Senate and House of Representatives.

With that development, the journey to the 10th Senate began as NASS management kicks off seminar to guide re-elected senators and senators-elect.

Speaking to newsmen on the development, Senator Ubah said: “Earlier today at Abuja Continental Hotel, I joined other re-elected Senators and Senators-Elect to participate in the Batch A of the induction training being organized by the management of the National Assembly for new members of the Senate and House of Representatives.

“The objective of the programme is to expose members-elect to the functions of the National Assembly, its practices and procedures, as well as the services available to them.

“It is also designed to familiarize them with the management and re-elected members of the National Assembly.

“The event which kicked off today has provided me and other members of the National Assembly the opportunity to meet with all newly elected members especially those from my Senatorial District and Southeast Geopolitical Zone.

“I am delighted to represent the people of Anambra South Senatorial District again in the 10th Assembly and I want to reassure them that I will continue to engage relevant authorities in order to sponsor more quality Bills and facilitate implementation of more developmental programmes in various parts of the Senatorial District.

“I am also very hopeful that in the 10th Assembly, some of my Bills that are aimed at providing necessary facilities for my constituents will be passed and consequently, signed into law by the incoming President.
