The senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah, has celebrated the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, for his “resounding re-election victory” at the just-concluded state governorship election.
This was contained in a goodwill message sent to Governor Uzodimma by Senator Ifeanyi dated November 12, 2023.
News Band had reported that Uzodimma, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), won in all the 27 local government areas of the state.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) made the pronouncement in Owerri, the state capital, on Sunday.
Reacting to the pronouncement, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah wrote:
“On behalf of my family and the good people of Anambra South Senatorial District, I wish to extend my warmest congratulations to you on your resounding victory in the recently concluded Imo State Governorship Election.
“Your triumph is a testament to your unwavering dedication, hard work, and the trust that the people of Imo State have placed in you.
“Your victory is not only a personal achievement but also a significant milestone for our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC). It is a clear indication that the people of Imo State have recognized and appreciated the positive impact that our party has had on their lives and the development of the state.
“Moreover, your leadership qualities, vision, and commitment to the welfare of the people have been evident throughout your campaign.
“Also, your ability to connect with the citizens of Imo State and address their concerns has undoubtedly played a crucial role in securing this victory.
“As you prepare to assume your second term in office, I have no doubt that you will continue to prioritize the well-being of the people of Imo State and I trust that you will work tirelessly to fulfil your campaign promises, promote good governance, and drive sustainable development in the state.
