Gunmen suspected to be criminal bandits in the wee hours of Monday attacked Idon community in Kajuru local government area of Kaduna State, abducting seven civilians.
According to media reports, two of the kidnapped victims were released during the raid by the terrorists.
A local resident, who doesn’t want to be quoted revealed that the actual number of kidnapped victims might be higher than the reported seven.
“Although reports say only seven people were kidnapped, there may be more victims. For now, we cannot provide a specific figure,” the resident said.
Police authorities in Kaduna State are yet to issue a statement in respect to ugly incident.
