Renowned Nigerian rapper, Falz, has shared his concerns and reservations about marriage in a recent podcast episode, ‘Unpack’.

As a public figure, Falz expressed uncertainty about what a successful marriage would look like for him, citing the challenges of maintaining a healthy family life under constant scrutiny.

Falz, who has been single for a while, stated that he is hesitant to take the plunge due to his indecision about the ideal relationship dynamic.

He highlighted the difficulties of navigating public versus private relationships and the impact on celebrity marriages.

The rapper emphasized the importance of understanding what works best for him in a relationship, saying, “I don’t know the ideal relationship. Maybe that is one of the reasons I am not bothered to try. When I say I am bothered, I don’t know what the ideal setup would look like.”

Falz also touched on the challenges of balancing his public life as an artist with his private relationships.

He questioned whether he would want to keep his relationship public or private, adding, “Being an artist, being in the public eye, is it going to be public or coded? Or do you want to come out as a famous couple? I think these things are difficult to navigate.”

The rapper further emphasized the difficulties entertainers face in maintaining healthy family lives due to the constant scrutiny they face.

He noted, “This is one of the biggest reasons entertainers do not get to have healthy family life. It is tough. It will always come out one way or the other. I might do it and run it coded.”
