Mr. Ola Olukoyede, chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), has ordered urgent investigation of bribery allegations leveled against some operatives of the Commission by Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky in a disturbing video which has gone viral online.
The cross dresser had alleged in the video posted by VeryDarkMan that some yet to be identified officials of the anti-graft agency collected the sum of N15,000,000 million from him to drop the money laundering charges against him.
Bobrisky’s claims come after previous legal issues, including a six-month prison sentence for mutilating and spraying Naira notes at social events.
But in a statement by the Commission signed by it’s spokesman, Mr Dele Oyewale, the EFCC’s boss has constituted a team of investigators to thoroughly look into the allegations.
The statement reads, “Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Mr. Ola Olukoyede has ordered immediate investigation of alleged bribery allegations imputed to some officers of the Commission by Idris Okuneye (a.ka.Bobrisky) in a viral video circulating across the country.
