Honourable Alex Mascot Ikwechegh, the lawmaker representing Abia North in the House of Representatives, has been caught on camera threatening to make an Uber driver disappear and nothing will happen.
The unfortunate incident occurred during a delivery at his residence in Maitama, Abuja.
In a video sighted by NewsBand Newspaper, the driver said trouble started when he requested that the lawmaker should come outside to receive his delivery personally.
The video shows the visibly angry lawmaker verbally berating and cursing the driver, taking offence at being asked to step out of his home to receive his items.
As the altercation intensified, the footage captured Ikwechegh slapping the driver multiple times, insisting the request was disrespectful given his social status.
At one point in the recording, Ikwechegh was heard threatening the driver, claiming he could make him “disappear” without facing any consequences.
Also, in a second part of the video, the driver was seen sitting in his car without a shirt, claiming that Alex Ikwechegh tore his clothes.
