A Nigerian woman simply identified as Adaeze Gift Okolie, has warned Nigerian men about the dangers of polygamy.
Adaeze in a post on her Facebook page stated that the new generation must not follow the polygamous path of their forefathers in order not to repeat the same mistake they made.
She argued that 90% of people that come from a polygamous home are traumatized by everyday drama they witnessed while growing up.
According to Adaeze Gift Okolie, some are still battling with the bad Juju that was done to them by their mother’s co-wife.
She added that aside having a large family in polygamy, there is nothing sweet and favorable in polygamy aside the man having fun with multiple women.
Adaeze said, “Because our forefathers did that doesn’t mean you should do yours, believe me, our forefathers want us to follow their way but not to repeat the same MISTAKE they made.
“90% of people that came from polygamy home are kinda traumatized by everyday drama they witnessed while growing up, some are still battling with the bad Juju that was done to them by their mom’s co wife, majority of people that always compete with their friends were born and brought up in a polygamy family, so competition is in their blood.
“Aside having a large family, I don’t see anything sweet and favorable in polygamy aside the man having fun with different women (wives)
“Some of these men that were born into polygamy don’t even have their own “Alaobi” where they can build their own house in their father’s land.”
