Manchester United is reportedly close to sacking a member of Ruben Amorim’s staff.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS are set to ax Chief Goalkeeping Scout Tony Coton as they continue their reshuffle at Old Trafford.

Coton, a long-serving member of staff, originally worked as the goalkeeping coach from 1997 to 2007.

The Red Devils have struggled to keep goals out this season, with their defense and goalkeeper taking much of the blame.

Ratcliffe has reportedly signed off on the dismissal, which will see Coton’s long-standing role at the club re-evaluated.
