A Yola based journalist, Kabeeru Gwangwazo who is popularly known and refer to as Arayu, has won a case against his former employer, Gotel Communication Limited a company own by Atiku Abubakar for breach of contract.
Kabeeru Gwangwazo dragged his former employer, communication company to court last year and the court ordered the sum of N5 million be given to him as damages incurred by the company.
Delivering ruling on the case, Justice Helen Nuhu of Yola High Court, said that Kabeeru Gwangwazo, has proved his case in line with section 167 sub section 1.
Nuhu also awarded Kabeeru Gwangwazo, another N1.1 million as balance of his contract payment with Gotel communication.
Gotel Communications owed by former Vice President of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar is the first private radio and TV station in the north eastern part of Nigeria.
