Police Hiding/Shielding Criminals, Anti-Corruption Group Blows Hot; Sets For Showdown

An anti-corruption group, Eagle Eyes Transparency International alleged that Nigeria Police Force [NPF] is hiding and/or shielding criminals.

An anti-corruption group, Eagle Eyes Transparency International, has alleged that the Nigeria Police Force [NPF] is hiding and/or shielding criminals.

The group also alleged that the police are arresting complainants instead of suspects, while trading with evidences.

The group made the allegation on Tuesday when they took their complaints to the Police Force Headquarters in Abuja, Coordinator of the group, Dr Davidson George informed Elombah.com.

To drive their points home, they have concluded arrangements to protest against the NPF and the Police Service Commission [PSC] from 18 to 25 September, 2017.

One of the targets of the protest is one ASP Bernard Agada “AP100593” whom they accused  of “armed robbery, impersonation, forgery of certificates of enrolment into the Nigeria Police Force and amassing of illicit wealth”.

According to the “Prior Information Regarding protest match on 18-25 September, 2017,” document, submitted to the police on Tuesday, the protesters will gather at the Federal Secretariat Phase I, by Eagle Square, Abuja.

From there they will match to the Police Headquarters, in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
