Senator Dino Melaye Regains Freedom, Sues IGP Idris

Senator Dino Melaye has regained his freedom after spending some time in police custody since January 4, 2019.

ElombahNews had, on Friday, January 18, reported that an Federal Capital Territory High Court sitting in Maitama, Abuja, granted bail to Senator Melaye.

He was granted bail on health grounds.

Meanwhile the senator representing Kogi West in the National Assembly has filed charges against the outgone Inspector General of Police Ibrahim Kpotum Idris.

ElombahNews gathered that Senator Melaye filed a suit bordering on violation of his fundamental human rights.
