The body of former Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, was on Wednesday, buried at the National Military Cemetery in Abuja.
The Nigerian Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), General A. G. Olonisakin confirmed this on his official twitter handle.
He said: “Yesterday we committed the body of my predecessor, Late Air Chf Mshl Alex Sabundu Badeh (rtd) to mother earth.”

According to a statement earlier released by Brig.-Gen John Agim, the Acting Director Defence Information said the late CDS was buried after a church service.
Badeh served as CDS under former president, Goodluck Jonathan.
He was attacked and shot dead by unknown assailants on December 18, 2018 on Keffi-Abuja highway, while returning from his farm.
