Lekki Gardens welfare team revisits collapsed building survivors

Following the March 8th building collapse, Lekki Gardens, through its Community Development and Welfare team, paid another round of visit to the survivors of the unfortunate incident who have been on admission at the General Hospital in Lagos.

During the visit, provisions were handed out to the survivors along with pre-loaded mobile phones to facilitate effective day-to-day follow up and communication with the survivors.

Of the 12 Survivors from the incident, only 2 are still receiving medical care whilst the other 10 have been discharged and reunited with their families. 

During the visit, Lekki Gardens & Homes reiterated their commitment to ensuring the wellbeing of the survivors and confirmed that its welfare team currently deployed to the hospital would remain on ground till the last victim is discharged and reunited with his family.

While the company awaits the conclusion of process and compilation of statutory autopsy report by the Lagos State Government which would enable the identification of deceased persons and expedite engagements with the bereaved families, adequate plans are being put in place to cater for each and every affected family.

Once again Lekki Gardens & Homes, sympathizes with the bereaved families and the injured, also re-affirms its commitment to the premium placed on lives and in every of their business dealings.
