President Buhari in closed door meeting with APC governors
President Muhammadu Buhari is presently locked in a closed door meeting with governors of the All Progressives Congress (APC) stock at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The governors present for the meet include the chairman of the governors forum Abdulaziz Yari, of Zamfara State.
Other are chairman of the progressive governors, Rochas Okorocha of Imo state, Ibikunle Amosu of Ogun State and Edo State governor, Adams Oshiomhole.
Others are governors from Kano, Borno, Kogi, Benue, including the Kaduna State counterpart, Nasir El-Rufai.
Details of the meeting are yet to be made public at the time of this report.
Speculations are rife that the may be centered on some of the actions of the President, including the allegations raised by his wife, Aisha Buhari.
Another of such issues is the ambassadorial list which many say has not favoured the governors’ choices.
The governors were seen strolling into the presidential villa at about 11:45 am on Monday, for the meeting scheduled to kick off at noon.
Those who are not present have their deputies to represent them.
