Drug authorities in Singapore on Friday executed a 38 years Nigerian footballer Mr. Chijioke Obioha through a firing squad for drug offenses.
The execution of Mr. Obioha followed despite plea for clemency by Nigeria government, UN, Amnesty international and other international bodies.
A concerned Nigerian Monday Ameh seized the opportunity to advise youths to learn vital lessons from this unfortunate execution and shun drug pushing and other illicit business as the consequence is death.
According to Mr, Ameh, “there is really no short cut to riches and greatness for all that glitters are not gold.
“We must all embrace hard work which is very rewarding.
“On the part of government, it must take the issue of job creation seriously.”
This, in his words, is in order that “our teeming unemployed youths will be gainfully engaged by been useful to themselves, their family and Nigeria!
