Breaking: Senate rejects Magu’s nominations as EFCC chairman

The Senate, on Thursday, kicks against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) chairman, Magu’s confirmation due to security report.

Earlier, Elombah.com had reported that Senate Leader, Senator Ali Ndume and Senator Dino Melaye were in fisticuffs over confirmation of EFCC Chairman, Ibrahim Magu.

It was reported that while Senator Ndume is soliciting for the confirmation of  Magu, Senator Melaye is kicking against his confirmation.

In this latest development, the Senate turned down the confirmation.
