(DDM) – Senator Dino Melaye has praised Enugu State Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah for transformative governance and exceptional leadership within just two years in office.
Diaspora Digital Media (DDM) gathered that the commendation came during the ongoing Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) annual conference, where Melaye described Mbah’s administration as a model of intellectual governance.
Melaye stated that what he witnessed in Enugu State reflects visionary thinking and evidence of a governor who plans and executes policies beyond conventional limits.
He stressed that Governor Mbah’s ability to “think out of the box” has resulted in infrastructural and economic development rarely achieved within such a short period.
The former lawmaker, renowned for his outspoken political commentary, further commended the recruitment process employed in selecting Mbah’s political appointees.
According to him, the calibre of individuals serving in the administration represents a rare blend of professionalism, competence and intellectual capacity.
“The intellectual sagacity displayed by these appointees is too much,” Melaye remarked.
“It gives hope that Nigeria can be fine again,” he added, suggesting that other governors should emulate Mbah’s approach to political appointments.
Melaye maintained that quality human resource management plays a critical role in driving sustainable progress at state and national levels.
