House of Representatives candidate for Igbo-Etiti/Uzo-Uwani Federal Constituency, Hon. Amaechi Okoro, has marked his birthday with a message to Nigerian youths, describing them as the “builders of today” and the driving force behind the nation’s transformation.
In a statement issued on Thursday, October 16, Okoro expressed gratitude to God for life and to young Nigerians for their resilience and courage in the face of the country’s challenges.
He said the energy, creativity, and determination of the youth remained the heartbeat of Nigeria’s future.
“Our country stands at a defining moment in history, and the youths remain the heartbeat of the change Nigeria urgently needs,” Okoro said.
“You are not the leaders of tomorrow; you are the builders of today,” he added.
The 2027 House of Representatives aspirant emphasized that the nation’s future depends on the capacity of its young people to innovate, unite, and act with a shared sense of purpose.
He said their collective strength would determine the success of Nigeria’s democratic and economic aspirations.
“As I celebrate this new year of my life, I rededicate myself to the service of the Nigerian youth to stand with you, speak for you, and work with you to build a nation that values justice, dignity, and opportunity for all,” he stated.
Okoro urged Nigerian youths to rise above ethnic and political divisions and focus on rebuilding the nation through hard work, honesty, and innovation.
He noted that lasting national progress could only be achieved if young people remained united and visionary.
He also offered prayers for divine strength, wisdom, and courage for the youth as they continue to strive for a better Nigeria.
“The future belongs to you, and together, we will make it happen. God bless the Nigerian youths. God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he concluded.
Okoro, who is seeking to represent the Igbo-Etiti/Uzo-Uwani Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in 2027, reaffirmed his commitment to youth empowerment and inclusive governance.
He maintained that a “new Nigeria” was achievable through leadership that listens to and prioritizes the younger generation.
