The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has announced plans to hold a special prayer session for unmarried youths, waiting mothers, and their families across the world.

Adeboye revealed the plan in a statement released on Thursday by Pastor Oladele Balogun, his Special Assistant on Administration.

The statement explained that the prayer program was inspired by divine instruction and would focus on singles, mature singles, waiting mothers, and expectant families.

According to Pastor Adeboye, recent population data in Nigeria showed that unmarried adults, including mature singles, represent more than 40 percent of the nation’s adult population. He described the figure as a “vibrant but growing segment seeking divine marital settlement.”

The respected cleric also acknowledged the millions of couples globally believing God for the fruit of the womb. He said their struggles reflect a deeply emotional and spiritual journey that requires divine intervention.

“Across the world, with RCCG’s presence in over 190 nations, these groups form a significant part of our fellowship community. They are united by faith, hope, and prayer,” Adeboye said.

He disclosed that the special prayer session would take place during the November 2025 Thanksgiving Service scheduled for Sunday, November 2, at The Throne of Grace, RCCG National Headquarters, Ebute-Metta, Lagos, by 8:00 a.m.

Adeboye warmly invited believers from across the world to join the global service. He said those within Lagos should attend physically, while international worshippers can connect virtually through RCCG’s online platforms.

“Participants across the globe are warmly invited to join this life-transforming encounter with God,” the statement added.

Adeboye emphasized that the prayer session would not only focus on marital and family breakthroughs but also strengthen faith among young people and families facing delays or disappointments.

Over the years, the RCCG leader has led several prophetic services for singles and families, many of which reportedly resulted in testimonies of marriage, childbirth, and divine restoration.

The upcoming session is expected to attract thousands of worshippers to the Lagos headquarters and millions more online. Church officials say preparations are already in full swing for the global event.

As the date approaches, Adeboye encouraged believers not to lose hope, stressing that divine timing remains perfect. “God never forgets His promises,” he said. “This season, He will visit His people with joy and testimony.”
