Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has emotionally broken down in a new video, admitting she feels drained and might return to her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.
The actress made the shocking confession on Friday, November 7, 2025, amid growing tension in her troubled marriage to the Delta North senator.
Regina revealed that her brother, Samuel “Sammy West” Daniels, was allegedly arrested and detained for several days on her husband’s orders. The revelation added fresh drama to their already stormy relationship.
In an emotional post on her verified social media page, the 25-year-old actress said her estranged parents had reunited only to support her and push for her brother’s release.
“Two sworn enemies reuniting with no ulterior motive other than their daughter’s happiness,” she wrote.
Regina, known for her breakthrough role in Miracle Child, expressed deep frustration over her brother’s prolonged detention. She vowed to personally intervene, even if it meant confronting her husband directly.
“Sammy’s detainment is taking way too long,” she cried. “We will get him out, even if I have to march there myself. Since they want me!”
In another viral clip, fellow actress Mercy Johnson-Okojie was seen searching for Sammy. “He’s not here,” Mercy said in visible distress before walking away.
Fighting back tears, Regina appeared confused and heartbroken. She hinted that she might return to her husband, saying, “Every time I wake up, I say one thing — oh, my brother, today I’ll hear good news. Then tomorrow, another story. I’ve tried. I have to go. I will go back.”
Weeks earlier, a viral video showed Regina weeping and alleging domestic violence in her marriage. In that clip, she claimed, “In Ned Nwoko’s house, I am nothing. But in my house, I am a queen. Not again. I can’t stand the violence. It’s too much.”
Senator Ned Nwoko, however, denied the allegations. He accused Regina of suffering from “drug and alcohol abuse” and claimed she needed professional help, not sympathy.
In another post, Regina begged Nigerians to stop attacking her mother, Rita Daniels, calling her “my pillar and protector.”
She also vowed to raise her two sons, Munir and Khalifa, with or without her husband’s support. “I’ll take them, train them, and raise them with or without your help,” she said.
The actress further hinted that her family never approved of her marriage to the 64-year-old lawmaker, which continues to divide public opinion.
Meanwhile, veteran musician Charles Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, weighed in on the controversy.
In a viral video, the 75-year-old activist criticized the couple for exposing their private battles online.
“Marriage isn’t a movie,” he said. “I’ve been married for 45 years. Why wash your dirty linen on social media? Ned should know better you married a young woman, fine. But wisdom isn’t sold in boutiques.”
He urged the couple to handle their crisis privately, adding that maturity and silence often solve what drama destroys.
As of press time, Senator Nwoko has not publicly responded to Regina’s latest emotional video or Charly Boy’s remarks.
