Governor Chukwuma Soludo has been declared the winner of the Anambra State governorship election, securing a second term in office.
He polled 422,664 votes under the banner of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), defeating his closest rival, Nicholas Ukachukwu of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who garnered 99,445 votes.
While the Labour Party candidate, George Moghalu scored 10,576 votes, John Nwosu, the candidate of the coalition-backed African Democratic Congress (ADC) polled 8,208 votes.
Meanwhile, Soludo’s re-election marks a strong endorsement of his governance and development agenda, focusing on infrastructure, education, and economic revitalization in Anambra State.
