US First Lady Melania Trump has again publicly rejected allegations connecting her to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, describing them as false and misleading.
Speaking at the White House in Washington, D.C., Melania made a rare on-camera appearance, saying:
“The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today.”
She stressed that she had no knowledge of Epstein’s crimes and was never involved in any way.
Although both she and her husband, Donald Trump, had been photographed with Epstein in the past, she clarified that:
She met Donald Trump independently
Epstein did not introduce them
She was never a victim of Epstein
“I am not Epstein’s victim. Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump,” she said.
Melania Trump also warned about misinformation circulating online, saying fake images and stories about her and Epstein have been shared for years.
She urged the public to be cautious and not believe unverified content.
The First Lady called on the U.S. Congress to hold public hearings for survivors of Epstein’s abuse, to allow victims testify under oath.
