Seven new lawsuits have been filed against Sean “Diddy” Combs and other celebrities allegedly involved .

On October 22, 2024, seven lawsuits were filed against Sean Combs in New York federal and state courts.

As reported by the Diaspora Digital Media (DDM), the lawsuits allege Combs engaged in serious misconduct, including rape, sexual assault, harassment, battery, or false imprisonment, between 2000 and 2022.

The alleged incidents occurred at parties Combs allegedly hosted in New York, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas.

The seven anonymous plaintiffs, three women, four men allege misconduct by Combs, with six claiming they were drugged.

The recently filed lawsuits include two cases brought forth by individuals alleging they were minors when they were purportedly drugged and assaulted by the music producer.

Notably, the latest lawsuits mark the first instance in the prolonged legal proceedings against Combs where additional celebrities are implicated and accused of involvement in an alleged assault, although their identities remain undisclosed.

One of the lawsuits

In a lawsuit initiated by Jane Doe, she alleges that in 2000, at the age of 13, she attended an MTV Video Music Awards afterparty hosted by Sean in New York City, after being invited by a limousine driver.

Doe’s complaint said, “following the consumption of an unidentified beverage, she experienced drowsiness and sought a place to rest.”

“Subsequently, Combs, accompanied by two unidentified celebrities, entered the bedroom where Doe was resting.”

According to the complaint, Combs allegedly exclaimed, “You are ready to party!” upon encountering her.

Doe’s lawsuit alleges that she was raped by the unnamed male celebrity, with Combs and the unnamed female celebrity present.

Furthermore, the lawsuit claims Combs then committed rape against Doe, while the other two celebrities looked at him.

Comment

In response to requests for comment, a spokesperson for “Diddy” referred CNN to his attorneys’ previous statement, wherein they refuted the claims presented in six separate lawsuits filed last week.

Combs’ legal counsel issued a statement reaffirming their client’s innocence, expressing faith in the judicial process, and underscoring their commitment to presenting robust legal defenses.

The statement maintains that “the truth will emerge in court, confirming Mr. Combs’ non-involvement in any sexual assault allegations.”

The lawsuits filed on Monday join a series of legal actions initiated last week by Houston-based attorney Tony Buzbee and co-counsel Andrew Van Arsdale.

Buzbee and Arsdale previously stated that they represent at least 120 individuals, including minors, who alleged that they were victimized by Combs.

Federal prosecutors have filed charges against Combs, alleging he orchestrated a complex “criminal enterprise” through his business empire, engaging in severe exploitation and harm against numerous women.

The allegations include sex trafficking, forced labor, kidnapping, and decades of physical abuse, among other serious claims.

Combs has entered a plea of not guilty to federal charges of sex trafficking, racketeering, and transportation for purposes of prostitution.

According to the counsels, the indictment outlines a pattern of manipulation, exploitation, and abuse, with Combs allegedly using his power and influence to coerce and control victims.

Combs remains in custody in New York, awaiting the start of his trial, presently slated for May 5, 2025.

Besides, on Monday, Sean’s counsel announced that they possess substantial new evidence, providing a compelling basis for seeking their client’s release from federal custody pending trial.

Also, they petitioned the appeal court to stay one of their appeals, allowing them to present newly obtained information to Judge Arun Subramanian, who is presiding over the case.

The government has submitted a response opposing the defendant’s motion to delay any appeals.

Prior to Combs’ request for a delay, the federal appeal court had already scheduled oral arguments regarding his detention for November 4.

Over the weekend, Sean’s attorneys submitted a request to Judge Subramanian for an order silencing potential witnesses and their attorneys from commenting on the allegations.

“Respectfully, we urge this Honorable Court to exercise its discretion and issue an order directing all potential witnesses and their counsel to refrain from making public statements that could potentially compromise Mr. Combs’ trial or undermine the fair administration of justice,” the attorneys stated.

Since November 2023, Combs has been named as a defendant in at least 25 civil lawsuits, each alleging acts of sexual assault or misconduct.

The first of these lawsuits was initiated by his former partner, Cassie Ventura, but was promptly settled.

Prosecutors have stated that their criminal investigation remains active and that additional charges or defendants may be included in a potential superseding indictment, indicating the ongoing nature of the inquiry.
