Premier League club, Manchester United has officially announced the departure of Erik ten Hag as the club’s men’s first-team manager.

Ten Hag’s tenure, which began in April 2022, has come to an end after a dismal start to the season, with the team sitting 14th in the Premier League table.

His last match in charge was United’s 1-2 loss to West Ham United on Sunday.

During his time at Old Trafford, Ten Hag led the team to two domestic trophies, including the Carabao Cup in 2023 and the FA Cup in 2024.

Despite this, the club’s poor performance this season has led to his dismissal.

Ruud van Nistelrooy, a former Manchester United star and strikers’ trainer, has been appointed as the interim head coach, supported by the current coaching team.

The search for a permanent head coach is already underway, according to information reaching Diaspora Digital Media.

Ten Hag’s departure marks the latest in a series of managerial changes at Manchester United, following the retirement of the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.

David Moyes, Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have all managed and left the club since the Ferguson era ended.
