Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo is reportedly facing a marital split from her husband, Bobby Maris, following a wave of online drama and serious allegations from her family.
Speculation about a breakup began after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram, a move that quickly caught fans’ attention. The situation escalated when Bobby shared a cryptic post stating, “A crowned wife is not fit for every woman’s head,” sparking mixed reactions across social media.
An alleged voice note circulating online adds another layer to the controversy. In the recording, Uche is reportedly heard confronting Bobby over financial responsibilities, questioning why he isn’t contributing while she handles the family’s needs.
The most intense claims, however, came from Uche’s sister, Sochima, who openly criticized Bobby in a public post. She described him as “very lazy,” alleging that he made no meaningful contribution to the family’s growth or well-being.
According to her, Bobby failed to provide in key areas—financially, emotionally, physically, and in overall care. She also claimed he would deliberately provoke Uche during disagreements and record her reactions, despite allegedly not supporting the household.
Sochima concluded by stating that Uche has walked away from the marriage and urged Bobby to move on.
As of now, neither Uche Ogbodo nor Bobby Maris has released a comprehensive official statement addressing all the allegations. The situation continues to generate conversations online, with many discussing relationship dynamics, responsibility, and the challenges couples face behind closed doors.
