The National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, Rauf Aregbesola, has lost his polling unit in Ilesa East Local Government Area of Osun State to the All Progressives Congress in Saturday’s governorship election.
Aregbesola voted at Ifofin Ward 8, Unit 1, where the APC secured 256 votes, while the ADC polled 13 votes. The Accord Party scored 43 votes at the unit.
Meanwhile, at Ward 1, Unit 2, Ibokun NUD Primary School, where the National Treasurer of the Peoples Democratic Party, Diran Odeyemi, voted, the Accord Party won with 211 votes, while the APC recorded 178 votes.
Collation of results was still ongoing across Osun State as of the time of filing the report.
