Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has revealed that her reconciliation with her former husband, Olakunle Churchill, has inspired her to help other women heal from broken relationships.

Dikeh said her decision to make peace with Churchill, the father of her son, King Andre, prompted hundreds of women to contact her, asking how she was able to overcome years of hurt and bitterness.

According to the actress, she was unable to respond to everyone but chose to reach out to women whose experiences were similar to hers.

She revealed that at least 10 women have since been able to reconcile with the fathers of their children, resulting in improved relationships and healthier co-parenting.

Dikeh described the development as an unexpected outcome of her own reconciliation, saying her painful experience had eventually become a source of hope for other women.

She encouraged single mothers who are carrying resentment to consider forgiveness, stressing that letting go of bitterness can bring personal healing and peace.

The actress also shared her belief that forgiveness is primarily about freeing the person who has been hurt rather than excusing the person who caused the pain.

She urged women facing difficult relationships to trust God instead of allowing past experiences to keep them trapped in anger.

Dikeh’s message comes months after she publicly announced that she and Churchill had ended their long-running feud.

The pair married in 2015, but their relationship broke down less than two years later, leading to years of public disagreements and accusations.

Their strained relationship also affected their approach to co-parenting their son, with issues surrounding their separation becoming a subject of public discussion.

She described the reconciliation as the end of a decade marked by painful experiences, broken communication and bitterness, while crediting God for helping them find peace.

Now, Dikeh says that the same experience has allowed her to help other families find their way back to peace.
